"Nice without the commotion...and with great views!"

Great place to stay...adjacent to Nice and close to Monaco (yuck!) without the hustle and bustle. Great views overlooking the bay with parking (paid) close by. A nice hilltop place to hang out. And the dining along the Villefranche waterfront is a short, albeit hilly walk away eith a really nice selection of restaurants. Pay up for the view. Highly recommend!

"Charming Boutique Hotel in Villefranche-sur-Mer"

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in Villefranche-sur-Mer, a 30ish minute drive from Nice proper, and a 45 minute walk from the gorgeous Coastal Path of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. This hotel provides a great value: central location, sea views, charming building & courtyard, AC, great service. Definitely add on the breakfast, it is well worth it - it's the best hotel breakfast we had in three weeks in France. The small bar & TV area was great for watching the Olympics opening ceremonies with an aperol spritz in hand. This is not a fancy hotel, but it makes up for that in charm and service. We would absolutely come back. The only consideration would be for those who use a wheelchair or are limited in walking - the walk back to the hotel from the ocean-front area is a steep one. Once at the hotel, there is a small elevator. But the stairs, particularly if you are on level 3 are no joke. Enjoy!

"Lots and lots of charai"

We loved our stay at this art deco hotel which has been sympathetically restored. The outside area where you could eat, drink or relax was surrounded by really attractive plants. The service was friendly and on the whole good. Breakfast well worth paying for. Things to be aware of; smallish rooms, located up a steep hill from the front, if you want a taxi book in advance.
