great comfortable hotel. nice, cheap breakfast was brought up to us everyday and our room was cleaned and tidied every day. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed for two nights and was very comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast. The people were friendly.

Nice little hotel, quiet yes if people don't slam their doors, nice breakfast, NO internet.... The guy staff, awful... The lady... Nicer... Toilet paper is pink!!!!

Bed was a little too small for 2. Staff was good people. Cleanliness was good. No way it's a 3.9 hotel. Overall rating is 2.5. or a solid 2. No free internet, but hotel is within walking distance of transportation and some major sightseeing areas. Some North Africans loitering several blocks away.

was nice new hotel,but would not accept that room had been paid for through hotels.com,had to return to get refund later.

The gentleman on the desk could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were able to walk to Ferry Port, and yet there were good places to eat within a few blocks walk from the hotel. Recommend highly.

Walked to the hotel from the ferry, walked to excellent dinner, breakfast was room service. Friendly staff, clean rooms, very nice place to stay at an affordable price!!

Excellent service, wonderful staff and amazing value. I got all the help I requested from both owners of the hotel and breakfast was promptly delivered by a cheerful and very pleasant woman. However, the pillows on my bed were uncomfortable and more like draught excluders! If there were larger and more comfortable pillows, I may have slept more easily. Also, my room was red hot and would have benefitted from a fan and/or air con. Opening the window on ground floor wasn't always an option, as it was a lively neighbourhood at all hours. It was a very pleasant and friendly neighbourhood though I must add. :) I took the ground floor room, as physical impairments would mean struggling to lift a case upstairs and I didn't want to have to worry about having to hassle people when I was ready to leave. The hotel itself is situated in an ideal location that allows access to many services, restaurants and even a supermarket round the corner. Would definitely return here if I'm ever in Calais again but probably bringing my own rectangular pillow just in case that situation hasn't improved.
