Le relais fleuri, Hôtel et restaurant Logis - Avallon

Positive is location and adequate rooms for the price and generally quiet. However, overall experience spoilt by unfreindly restaurant staff (dinner and breaksfast) and unlear charging. Resevation from confirmation indicated breakfast included in the price but it was added as extra aty check out.

We stayed at this hotel on our way back from a holiday in The Alps. It was a day where temperatures reached 42 degrees so the pool and air-con were much appreciated. Lovely pool area with bar. Restaurant and food lovely but a bit expensive.Hotel was easy to reach, being just a few minutes off the motorway. All in all, a lovely place to stay with reasonably priced, nice quality rooms in very nice surroundings. We would use it again as a stopover.

Hotel was fine. Dinner good but expensive. Good for enroute or touring rather than holiday itself.

We found this a comfortable and well-run hotel. The staff were efficient and helpful. The location is in the country near a main road. We have two minor criticisms. The shower fitting was loose and the wi-fi connection did not work. We were disappointed with the quality of dinner in the hotel restaurant..

Good all round, very helpful, all the guests were French, and the food was excellent. Sadly poor bar service, just very very slow.

Having a dog, we really appreciated the grounds- lovely to stroll around after a day of driving. The evening meal was French cuisine at its best. Likely to return for these reasons -though the room was a rather tired, with" fog" in the double glazing.

Excellent hotel. Close to autoroute, and perfect for visiting nearby Avallon. Staff extremely helpful, swimming pool a nice extra. A good overnight stop. Next door to the campanile and premier classe. More expensive but we thought worth the extra money

This was just a brief overnight stop on our way to the Alps. We arrived about 10pm, check in was easy and we could park right outside. The room was clean and large enough for us all, (2 adults, 2 children), beds very comfy even with 17 month old horizontal in the middle of it! Bathroom very nice - no complaints at all. We didn't have breakfast as it was quite expensive, (€16 pp), choosing instead to go into the nearby town for coffee & croissant which was perfect and not much of an inconvenience.
