We spent 5 wonderful days at hotel l'Estelle in Camargue, it was our first time in this hotel but 20th+ in Camargue. Our party was family of 4 and a friend, and we had reserved 3 beautiful rooms, which were all different, well kept and on both sides of the horse shoe shape of the hotel. From the moment we arrived, we received a friendly greeting by the bartender, as we waited to get our rooms. Also one of the co-owners, Philip, came to introduce himself and welcome us to the hotel. The pool area with separate lounge deck and jacuzzi are all really great. Throuhout our stay, the service at poolside with drinks and towels was swift and friendly. We ended up dining in the hotel restaurant every evening, as our experience of the food in the restaurants in the town of Stes Maries de la Mer is a bit below our expectations. L'Estelle restaurant is run by the other co-owner, Sven, who is leading his team with an excellent touch. The overall dining experience was perfect, and for our last dinner our wish for daily menu was taken into account which we appreciated a lot. Quality and selection of wine menu was above our expectation, which was a massive plus for us. About the breakfast: it was a buffet with tasty food, while eggs, hot and cold drinks are served at the table. Special thanks to the fruit salad due to its quality and freshness! L'Estelle recommended couple of beach clubs for us, as we wanted to spend 2 days on the beach. They were both good, and especially Playa had excellent sea food. Somehow we had missed that in all our visits to the area before. Surroundings in the area offer plenty of things to do, highlight to our daughter was horseback riding at the neighboring Heidi's where she ended up riding 3 times. In total our visit was awesome and we will definitely come back to l'Estelle, thank you very much Philip, Sven and the team at the hotel.

En oas i Camargue. Fina rum, härliga ytor vid poolen. Toppenpersonal, vi kände oss otroligt välkomnade och väl omhändertagna.

Restaurangen levde inte riktigt upp till vad den lovade.

What can I say, after many years, we returned to stay at L’Estelle and we will not leave it so long again. Its a little piece of paradise in the Camargue. Situated by the water with an infinity swimming pool, the location is simply stunning. The rooms are large and cool and beautiful to stay in. The staff are on hand all day for drinks or snacks or ice creams by the pool. The restaurant for dinner is just a pleasure. Thankyou all so much for making our time with you so very special…we were so sorry when we had to leave

14 photographers stayed here for approximately ten days. Our rooms were bright and very comfortable. King-sized bed, couch, very large bathroom (shower, tub, sink), and a separate toilet room. My room (107) had a sliding glass door leading to a screened-in porch with two chairs and a table. There was an additional deck with two lounges outside the porch facing a natural waterway and nature sanctuary. A terrific hotel wih a very relaxed vibe. Breakfast was included and had a variety of healthy foods. Special requests were accommodated. Mylene V ran the front desk like a pro. She was attentive and always accommodating. Truthfully, all the staff went out of their way to make our entire party feel like family. Whatever they could do to make your stay most enjoyable is what they did. Remarkable how hospitable they were. We ate at the hotel's restaurant several times besides breakfast, mostly for dinner, and occasionally for lunch. The service and wine availability were 5-star....the food was 4+. The owner Phil had a distinct presence and always cheerful greeting. He was most gracious in welcoming us and thanking us for staying at his hotel. I would actually look forward to returning to the area and most definitely make this hotel my home.
