Borgo Livernano

Dejligt sted i flotte omgivelser. Vi besøgte den tilhørende vingård og fik en fin rundvisning og vinsmagning. Morgenmaden var god og aftensmaden også god til fine priser

The receptionist Diana was very nice and hospitable, however, the level of the room was lower than the one shown in the pictures. I would expect them to post pictures of the lower standard room in the category rather than the highest standard in the category. Otherwise customers will be disappointed. The aircon didn't properly chill the room. The restaurant was actually very bad. The meat tasted as if it was frozen. Breakfast was also not up to par compared with other Tuscan places.

Our stay at Livernano is one most amazing experience. The place is incredibly serene because of its location being high on top of a hill. It is surrounded by scenic and natural beauty and freshness of cool air. The property itself is tastefully and elegantly designed and decorated giving a historical ambience but regal. The staff, Deanna and Bart were very hospitable. They made us feel very welcome and made sure we were comfortable. The best of all, least to our knowledge, it was Gudrun herself attended to us. She is one great pleasant and humble lady. We are grateful and we wish we could stay longer. The wine-tasting at Casalvento was interesting too. We wish we could bring home bottles of superb wines. We invite everyone who visits Tuscany to see Livernano.

Room was beautiful. So peaceful and quiet there. Do not miss dinner there - hand prepared farm to table. Did not visit the winery but we heard it was one of the best in the region.

Wir waren leider nicht so begeistert von Livernano. Schon die Anfahrt war alles andere als schön! Über 6,5 km ging es über eine Schotterpiste durch den Wald hoch und runter. Die "Straßenverhältnisse" waren sehr schlecht und unser Auto war voller Dreck danach. Bei diesem Weg musste man sich jeden Tag aufs neue überlegen, ob man die Anlage für das Abendessen verlässt oder lieber doch nicht. Unsere Zimmereinrichtung war schon etwas älter. Der in der Beschreibung erwähnte Fernseher war nicht vorhanden. Aufgrund der Abgeschiedenheit muss man leider auch mit dem ein oder anderen Insekt im Zimmer rechnen. Service und Essen war sehr gut. Auch die kleine Poolanlage war schön. Wer also wirkliche Abgeschiedenheit sucht, ist hier richtig. Für uns war es jedoch leider zu abgeschieden.

Fantastisk sted og utrolig hyggelig vert, Daniella, som gjorde alt for at vi skulle trives. Vingården ligger avsides på en høyde med super utsikt! Absolutt verdt kjøreturen. Fint basseng for voksne. Rene og romslige rom og bad. Gode senger. Grei mat, god vin og fantastisk solnedgang til middagen! Anbefaler stedet for rekreasjon og avslapping. Stedet kan leies ut til bryllup.

Amazing stay in Chianti. Would go back again and again.

Beautiful view. U need a car to get there, there is a 15 mins drive in a dirt road, but it's worth it. The breakfast is not very rich. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was very good, and not expensive. Very friendly staff.
