Bed & Breakfast Caravaggio

Camera essenziale negli arredi, ma pulita. Proprietario molto gentile e sempre pronto a dare preziosi consigli. L'androne del palazzo in cui è situato il B&B è piuttosto cadente e anche l'impianto idraulico necessiterebbe di un intervento ( odore di scarichi il primo giorno, acqua calda dopo qualche minuto di attesa). Ottima la posizione che permette si spostarsi a piedi,evitando la ricerca alquanto difficoltosa di un parcheggio. Prezzo adeguato.

Un bel soggiorno, nessun problema a parcheggiare l'auto nonostante la posizione centralissima vicino al ponte di Ortigia, subito bene accolti da Antonio con ottime indicazioni per visite e cibo. Tutto bene e Siracusa é una magnifica città che può essere girata a piedi, abbiamo visitato Ortigia e il parco archeologico. La stanza é comoda e spaziosa in un appartamento di un palazzo che non presenta benissimo ma che non ci ha creato alcun problema. Per me é un ottimo indirizzo da consigliare, corrispondente in tutto a quanto promesso al momento della prenotazione

Excellent location within easy walking distance of Ortigia island. Antonio was great and contacted us via email prior to arriving. Would stay again :)

Excellente situation géographique à la porte de l'île d'Ortigia, également à 10 min à pieds de la gare, quartier à la fois tranquille et vivant dans lequel on trouve toutes les commodités. Inutile d'avoir 1 véhicule, tout se fait à pieds. Chambre spacieuse, insonorisation et système de climatisation excellents, nous n'avons pas entendu les bruits de la rue une seule fois. Le réfrigérateur mis à disposition dans la chambre est vraiment un petit plus appréciable qui permet d'éviter de se restaurer toujours à l'extérieur. Notre hôte Antonio a été disponible sans être envahissant et n'a pas pénalisé notre arrivée très retardée! Seul regret: le petit-déjeuner pas terrible. On ne l'a pris qu'une fois à notre arrivée pour se dépanner... j'avoue que c'est un peu frustrant de boire un café lyophilisé comme introduction à un séjour en Sicile!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bed & Breakfast Caravaggio. Antonio is a most gracious and hospitable host.

Antonio, the owner is kind and attentive. He was very helpful in getting us oriented in Siracusa. The room was well priced, clean, with excellent air conditioning and a good shower. Very close to Ortigia with a good pizza restaurant right downstairs, highest rated gelato within one block.

Antonio, the proprietor, was extremely helpful with advice and showed great kindness to us. The hotel is well run and kept very clean. It is also quite centrally located within easy reach of the island of Ortigia which is the historic old town of Syracuse. We may well come back again to B&B Carivaggio when the weather is not so hot!

The hotel is very small and does not offer breakfast. It was very close to everyting in the city. We could walk anywhere. The pizzaria nextdoor is a must try. The owner of the hotel gave us alot of information about things to do around the area.

Spent 7 days at the B&B. Room and breakfast was very good. It is situated close to all the sites. The owner provided us with all information and made sure our stay was excellent. Would go back and highly recommend

Great host! Perfect location to all sights. Room and beds are comfortable. Balcony. Fridge. Breakfast. Secure. Great restaurant right down stairs. Really cute place! Fabulous cappuccinos!
