Had a great stay. Lovely staff beautiful next to vineyard only negative was close proximity to road so when out by pool can hear road.

Beautiful chateau, very clean and comfortable rooms, super lovely staff who made us feel very welcome (and thank you Louis for the brilliant tasting!). Highly recommend as a base for wine tasting in this area

**Disappointing Stay at Château Meyre** We were really looking forward to our stay at Château Meyre, expecting a luxurious experience inside the château itself, as advertised. Unfortunately, we were left extremely disappointed upon arrival when we were escorted to an annex building on the property. This critical detail was never made clear during the booking process. The annex building was nowhere near the level of charm and grandeur we had anticipated. It felt more like a standard, impersonal guesthouse than part of the historic château. The rooms were plain and lacked the elegance and atmosphere we had been looking forward to. It was frustrating to feel misled, especially considering the premium price we paid for what we believed would be a château experience. Furthermore, while the château itself is beautiful, guests staying in the annex are not allowed to access many of the main château areas except for limited common spaces. This made us feel further removed from the charm and history that drew us to the property in the first place. Overall, the lack of transparency about the accommodation and the disappointing quality of the annex building left us feeling that our stay did not meet expectations. If you’re looking for an authentic château experience, be sure to confirm exactly where you’ll be staying, or you may find yourself as disappointed as we were.
