"Great view and Quiet Hotel"

8.0

Wifi poor in the room but great on the patio in front of the room. Great view and the people were really friendly/helpful. Quiet, relaxing stay. Just a bit of a walk into town and a taxi back to the hotel at night. Breakfast was simple and just what we needed. 100 yards to the start of the Walk of the Gods trail.

"A Little Gem on the Amalfi Coast"

8.0

La Maliosa D'Arienzo is a lovely quaint B&B near Positano. Felix and his staff do a great job making you feel at home. It is ideally located near a SITA bus stop so Amalfi, Sorrento and surrounding towns are just a bus ride away. The walk to Positano is about 15 minutes which is not a big deal for me, but could be challenging for those who are not walkers. I really enjoyed my stay and would go back. It's a great property and was perfect for my needs.

"Amazing! Will definitely come to visit again!!!!"

10.0

The view was amazing!!! Just a short walk into the town of Positano (maybe 15 min). The owner, Felix (not shy about sharing his feature in National Geographic), was an amazing chef who served us wonderful homemade fish and ravioli 2 of the nights we were there, in his beautiful garden overlooking the water. The meals were very reasonably priced as well. In the mornings, you can enjoy fresh-made chocolate croissants with your morning cappuccino and choose from the buffet including fruit, cheeses, jams, eggs, cereals, etc. (included w/ room). It is a short walk down to the beach which is mostly rocks but they are smooth and we had no issue laying out in the sun and swimming in the cool water for a day. The path to the beach is a bit steep as the B&B is on a hillside, but not very long so it should be no issue for most. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with a reasonably-priced minibar. Each room has its own small patio/garden in front with lawn chairs and a bistro table if you choose to sit out in front of your room to enjoy the view and maybe have a nice glass of wine.. There are many beautiful and interesting views, statues, paintings, and murals on the property. I strongly recommend La Maliosa and will definitely be returning on future visits to Positano. Great location, great staff, clean rooms, beautiful views, delicious food, good wine.....what more could you ask for? By far one of the best places I've stayed in Italy yet!

"Worth looking at if you are going to Positano"

10.0

Very nice place. I would definitely stay here again if I were ever to return to Positano again. Walking in and out of the city not a bad walk at all...just need to dodge the cars and buses. Hotel owner was accommodating and was able to secure a taxi for us to get back to Salerno. I don't understand the negative comments about him as he was nothing but professional to us.

"A room with a VIEW"

8.0

Our room was spacious, cannot recommend to anyone with bad knees as the steps from our room to the beach was 300 plus. The location was awesome only about 20 minute walk to Positano via the winding road. The D'Arienzo Beach Club Restaurant which was situated at the bottom of our steps was brilliant and the cheap rental of beach beds made for beautiful days. The view from our bedroom window as perfect with our own private verandah and two sun beds.

"Positano Winner!"

10.0

Great view. Felix is VERY helpful, with anything and everything! Would definitely stay here again. A little far from city center, so a bit of a walk, and the set taxi fare from anywhere in town is 20 euros-a bit pricey if you're 2 minutes drive away. Shower is hand held, would be nice if it hung from the wall, so one could more easily wash hair etc, but still ok. AC is set to 18 C. Cannot be cooler, but there are places with no AC, si it was much appreciated! Would definitely stay here again.

"Exceptional"

10.0

The location of this place is perfect!!! It's a 20 minute walk into the town, when you pass through cute restaurants and shops and have amazing views. But the great thing about this place are the views that you get and also the 'private beach.' This beach serves whoever is in Arienzo. But from all the ones that I visited this was the one I liked best! It was a pleasure to stay at La Maliosa. The room was big, and we had a porch with an amazing view. Felice was very friendly and helpful! He is also a great cook and cooked dinner for us 2 nights! I highly recommend La Maliosa.
