La Maliosa D'Arienzo

Everything about this hotel was lovely. The rooms were very well appointed and so clean. The bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. Views - wow - along with the gardens were amazing. There is no elevator in this hotel so be sure you can walk steep, uneven steps as it's a long way from the road to reception then to the rooms. We were grateful for the punch when we checked in. The only thing they didn't do - and they should - is carry your bags. We were so lucky we had only brought small cases. If we'd have brought big suitcases it might have been a problem as we're in our 60's.

Awesome place, sensational views over the sea. It's clifftop location is amazing and access by bus right outside the gate. Only 1 km to Positano which we walked down to several times.Its a narrow road with many buses and parked cars - no verge! Take extreme care! Don't take a car! Only negative was the walls between units were very thin!! Great outdoor seating, especially for breakfast. We loved it heaps and would highly recommend it.

We stayed 4 nights at La Maliosa D'Arienzo. The property is lovely with amazing views! It has quick access to a private beach with bar and restaurant, which is much more relaxing and quieter than the main beach at Positano. Overall a very enjoyable stay at a clean well located B&B. We will miss Felix's cappuccinos.

Great view from everywhere in the hotel. Rooms are clean and breakfast is good. We liked bing about 1 km out of the city but the road is treacherous. If you have a problem managing stairs then this is not the place for you, though that could be said for almost all of the Amalfi! Very relaxing place, terraces are great for lounging on and taking in the great view.

It is located high up on the hill with beautiful ocean view from every room. It is about 10 min walk to the private beach. Beakfast is decent enough. Staff was nice and can understand English with no problem. It is highly recommended.

It was a simple place but very clean with a very good breakfast. The staff was good at providing any information we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Get ready for a lot of steps and a vanishing staff when they see you checking out with your luggage. The attempt at orientation to the property relative to the surroundings was underwhelming. Felix the manager was not terribly helpful in explaining the town, access points, or private beach rules. He was accommodating in getting our train tickets printed and calling for transfers. We squeezed a family of 5 into a small room and were on top of one another. Despite, the views from this venue are spectacular!!

The help, other than the owner, was great. We had apparently doubled booked n although Felix tried to reach us, we did not connect b4 our arrival. Upon arrival, he was very abrupt regarding the situation n since he didn't understand English that well or maybe he just didn't care we weren't able to explain our situation. Overall, we did not find him to b all that friendly. We ordered lunch at 15 euros n 20 euros. We were GIVEN bread, salad, n water, n a CHOICE of wine, n dessert. Our bill turned out to b 70 euros. That would have been fine, except the meal wasn't very good with the exception of the bread, wine, n dessert.

Great location, just a 15 minute walk from the center of Positano. Great views from the room and excellent service.

Beautiful place, breakfast was poor, breakfast was served until 9.30hr but they ran out of bread by 9.10hr leaving us with no choice but to eat just sweet foods. Breakfast was very fast food style , not what one would expect from a B&B in Italy!
