La Neffola Residence

This is a really unique place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately kept. We loved the fruit trees, swimming pool and views. All the staff (especially in the restaurant) were great and super helpful as we were travelling with a baby. I hadn’t seen pictures of the actual room online but decided to book anyway and it was actually set up great for us. It was two rooms with a door in between. One room had a twin bed in and the hotel provided a crib so our baby could essentially sleep in her own room and the other had a king bed in it. There was also a little kitchenette (fridge & sink). Neither rooms were big but we were super happy with it. The prices are high in Sorrento and compared to other places, it was on the lower side from what was available when I was booking.

The room could do with some improvement as it is quite old. I didn’t really trust how clean the duvet was as there was a few stains on it but again, might have just been old. The bathroom is functional but not particularly nice so would benefit from modernising. As a short term stay, we didn’t need two fridges in the room and one dresser would suffice but there was a lot of clothes storage. We needed more room for luggage which would be possible if some of the cabinets were taken out. There is so much potential here to make the rooms amazing as the building itself is beautiful.

Such a unique property! The grounds were beautiful, with a convenient bar / cafe / restaurant at reception next to a beautiful pool.

No shuttle service option (even for a fee). It was a trek to get to reception from the train station with luggage.

The property was beautiful, very spacious. Lemon, orange trees surrounding. The staff couldn’t do more for you.

We did have an infestation of ants.

Great stay. Perfect location. Kids loved the pool. Piero was very helpful when my husband had to be admitted for operation at the hospital in Sorrento. He immediately extended our stay and helped with arranging a taxi van to the airport.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
