Our host Nigel a delightful Cornishman, has made this B&B, set in a quiet village, an exceptional place to stay. Every little detail in the B&B and the service provided has been honed to perfection. From a warm welcome to the beautifully decorated and furnished, spotlessly clean en-suite rooms with a balcony providing spectacular views over the Cornish countryside. Fully equipped Apartments are also available. Tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk provided, a fridge with 2 courtesy drinks and complimentary chocolate bars. TV, good Wi-fi, power shower, comfortable bed, quiet and dark at night for a restful nights sleep. A fine breakfast is served here too, with lots of choice. An ideal base for visiting the Eden project, Heligan gardens, Mevagissey, Truro and The Roseland Peninsula. There is a pub, Hawkins Arms serving meals and well kept beer, a Tandoori restaurant, a Chinese takeaway and a Fish and Chip takeaway just a five minute walk. If you fancy a takeaway Nigel offered to supply cutlery and plate to eat it at the tables and chairs on balcony. There is plentiful free safe parking. Overall we found the accommodation and breakfast very good value for the price paid.
