Ambrose Hotel

Very good location. Room was very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I could not fault anything about my stay. Would definitely stay agin.

Cleaniess Location

Although the room was clean it need some attention with things like drawee handles missing and fixes that had been removed but not fully. Spy hole in door is to high I am 5ft 8 and had to stand on tip toe to use it. No breakfast which I wasn't told but luckily found it in someone else's review. TV seemed to be set to one channel and volume. And very nosiness with people using fire exit stairs to smoke and use there phones what seemed like every 20 minutes through the night. I think I had around 2 hours sleep in all. Not good when it had taken me over 4 hours to get there and 4 hours to get home after 2 hours sleep.

very friendly staff, good parking, good shower and plenty of items for hot drinks etc. late bar was a bonus !

hotel showing signs of wear and head boards of beds had what looked like dirt or stains on them, that may put some people off .

Great location - Dog friendly and super value for money - ease of coming and going was appreciated with your own keys

Unfortunately some of the other residents were very noisy spoiling our last nights stay.

Lovely spacious room Though we didn't use them, shared use of microwave, toaster and fridge on our floor was a good idea

Tv didn't have any channels, but wasn't a big problem

Was lovely stay was nice and quiet they left us to it and they was lovely staff members
