The spa itself was very nice and relaxing, although it was a little confusing to set up the steam bath and sauna without assistance. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, with exceptionally comfortable pillows and bed, which made for a very good night’s sleep.

Unfortunately, our experience did not fully meet five-star expectations. The steam bath in the spa caused a severe burn on my partner’s leg. Staff provided burn cream, but the response felt quite dismissive and lacking in concern. The bedroom also did not appear to have been cleaned to a high standard — the floor was dusty, and one of the replacement towels had orange stains on it. While the reception area was pleasant, the overall service lacked some of the touches we would normally expect from a five-star hotel. There was no concierge service, nobody assisted with luggage on arrival, and there was no welcome drink or similar hospitality touches. Small details like these make a difference at this level. Overall, we would say this is a good four-star hotel, but it did not feel like a true five-star experience.
