"terrible manager and a distressing second night"

There was an incedent on our second night which meant we got hardly any sleep...it was because the next door were arrested by the police at 2 am and they had guns and dogs and there was a lot of noise and when we asked the manager to move us as we had been upset he took no responsiblity and said it wasnt the hotels fault if guests were arrested by the police in the middle of the night.....it was really scary.We are pensioners an d didnt expect this..anyway after a heated discussion and my husband threatening to check out and 15 minutes of stress the manager after much negativity agreed to move us to a different floor. This was unacceptable he should have immediately moved us without argument and should have even compensated us..a bottle of wine would have done the trick! Apart from the lack of management the hotel was very nice and the pool was excellent.

"Not a good experience!"

The hotel, while it has a great exterior, was very, very dated - looks like it was renovated in the 70's - and not well. Cheap laminate floors and really ugly furnishings. Room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned since the 70's. Not a good experience overall!

"Exceptional"

Great hotel, appears to have been recently refurbished on a large scale. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms. Beware of the onsite parking charges if you take a car.

"Hotel met all our needs and expecttations"

Well kept classy hotel, very polite staff, everything we were looking for. It was the little things, the waitress remembering what we liked for breakfast, the complimentary watermelon slices for everyone sat around the pool, the help I had from the reception staff when we had car problems. The hotel breakfast was excellent as was dinner and the kids always seemed pleased when I said we were eating in. I would happily visit this hotel again, as would the rest of the family.

"OAPs on Tour - Tuscany 2018"

Lovely hotel, very smart with excellent facilities. The staff, especially the Manager and bar staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to advise on the local area and places to eat. Will definitely return.
