Musciara Siracusa Resort

This is a family-owned luxury resort experience. I was in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen and outdoor terrace. The service was the best that I've had in Italy. The common spaces were beautifully appointed, and the outdoor terrace serving breakfast (included with your stay) and lunch overlooked the gorgeous view of the sea. The private beach for the hotel is impeccably maintained: the beach is combed each morning, and the guests waded and swam in the water, rendered even and calm by the breakwater. There were ample beachside beds, towels, recliners, and umbrellas, and changing rooms with a fully functional bathroom.

There is nothing I did like like or admire.

Beautiful family run resort in perfect location, just outside Ortigia

Location, very discreet staff, a boutique hotel imprinting rather than a resort. 15m walking distance from the historical center. Don’t expect a standard 5 Stars international hotel, this is a family owned venue which we appreciated.

I guess a complimentary bottle of water should be available to their guests. I wonder why a coffee machine is not available in their rooms. Price is on the high band for the offer but, you pay for discretion.

The hotel has a great atmosphere, and I pay great attention to the interiors. The location is fantastic.

However, be careful about the drink prices at the bar. We ordered drinks without a menu, and upon check-out, we were shocked to find that a drink cost 20 euros, a wine 14 euros, and a double drink 30 euros! That's even more than at the mega-expensive restaurant in Savoca (the Godfather's). It was our mistake, and you shouldn't make it.

Our stay at Musciara was simply the best we’ve ever experienced. This family-run resort is filled with heart and attention to detail — everything is immaculate, beautifully maintained, and designed to make you feel at home. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The private beach, the tasteful atmosphere, and the genuine hospitality made every day unforgettable. We have traveled a lot, but Musciara stands out as something truly special. This place has a piece of our hearts, and we cannot wait to return.
