Dar Al Bahar

Located really in the heart of medina, it has an amazing rooftop with a beautiful ocean view.

Since I was staying in a room on a ground floor, right behind the reception/ front desk it was pretty noisy as the breakfast/ dining area was right opposite my room. So every morning I was woken up by guests having breakfast. Also in the evening kids very playing around right behind my window and I could here every motorcycle passing by etc. And also it was pretty dark at any time of the day. So would recommend to anyone to request a room at least on a first floor.

The stairs to my room and rooftop terrace The cold in the breakfastroom - there is a fireplace - but no wood- i sincerely hoped to get warmed up there - because it was cold and very wind in march in Essaouira- but no- no dry wood available Sea view in room is small Rooftop terrace is not nice to sit: to windy- cold (i went to other rooftopterraces : shields and better Seats and oriëntatiions)

still had used glasses in the bathroom when we arrived, stains on the bed sheets
