Hôtel Héliot, Cosy Places by Charme & Caractère

Location was perfect - easy walk to everything.

No lift.

My arrival was delayed beyond my control and they said no checkins after 10pm and said they were holding half the full rate as deposit even though I was only going to be less than 1 hour late. As a result I had to scramble around looking for a last minute hotel. Even if it is their policy, they need to have some judgement in cases like this.

Very large room for Europe. Location was 50 yards from the Aero airport shuttle bus, 20 minutes to the airport. Very good location to explore Toulouse.

dated, sad looking room. photos showed pretty staircase - that was about it for ambience.

Cosy is a very good way of describing it, down to the "night watchman' cat. The staff were friendly and helpful in some way every day. I was given a very comfortable, and much larger than expect room which I enjoyed very much.

I was happy to have found Hotel Heliot. It is well situated, clean and comfortable. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and make you feel at home .

There was no elevator in the hotel, so that I had to struggle carrying my heavy luggage upstairs and downstairs. Morning buffet was much poor than what I expcted.
