Great staff and beautiful view

Très bel hotel, vue magnifique, depuis la terrasse et le jacuzzi qui est fortement agréable. Personnel très agréable, bonnes recommandations de la part d’Asia. Très bon restaurant et très pratique au vu de l’emplacement.

Les marches pour monter et descendre de l’hotel, et rien à proximité ni superette ni restos. Et contrairement à Praiano/Positano les bus ne s’arrêtent quasi pas devant l’hôtel, nous avons du plusieurs fois faire le trajet jusqu’Amalfi a pieds environ 35-40min au bord de la route. Donc attention si vous faites des excursions prévoyez le temps qu’il faut si le bus est plein il ne s’arrêtera pas.

Het feit dat onze jacuzzi niet werkte en hier geen compensatie voor kregen. We betaalden dus voor iets wat we noet konden gebruiken

Beautiful location, friendly staff who were really helpful and welcoming. Fresh breakfast every morning and clean rooms. Private beach.

Not much. A lot of steps to access it could make it tricky if you’re not physically fit but the daily steps were worth it for the sea views and private beach.

Breakfast was good as were our meals on a couple of the nights we had dinners at the villa. The staff were excellent - always pleasant and willing to assist.

A rude and terse call from the owner of the villa after our first night's stay demanding one of our guests leave the villa immediately. We had booked the triple room for 3 of our wedding guests. When we learned one of the girlfriends of my son"s friends would be joining us for our wedding, we contacted the villa to inquire whether they would allow the 4th person in the triple room. We advised we would of course pay any additional amount. They did not initially respond. We had our wedding planner also reach out but she too could not get a response. After numerous follow-up messages, we finally heard back. The villa advised they were only concerned the room would be too cramped. We advised the 4 sharing were young adults (early 20's) and were used to traveling and sharing cramped quarters, staying in hostiles and the like. We assured them there would be no complaints of the limited space. We did not hear further. When the owner called me after our first night's stay, I explained all this. He just kept yelling at me and demanding she had to leave. I then got a call from Asia from the villa explaining their license only permitted 3 people in that room and that they could be fined or shut down and that the young girl would have to leave. She said she went back and looked at the messages and apologized. She said this should have been explained before we arrived. Asia assisted us in finding other accommodations close by but this cost us an additional 1200 euros. Both the boyfriend and girlfriend moved to the new accommodations as we weren't comfortable having the young girl stay completely on her own. Villa Santa Maria also would not refund the added amount we paid for the 3rd person since there were only 2 now staying in the room. They said we booked through bookkng.com and it was non-refundable. So in addition to the 1200 euro for the new accommodations we also still had to pay for 3 people despite there actually only being 2 in the room.
