Very nice staff, room with large balcony. Pleasant patio for lunch or dinner. Well kept garden. (Would help if you put a sign "staff bathrooms ONLY" by breakfast room, it was not clean.)
It was just an overnight stop between Malaga and Valencia bu we would definitely stay there if we were in the area again.

This is such a beautifully situated hotel with great rooms and an excellent restaurant. Ideal base for walking or cycling in the Sierra de Espuña.
We are no strangers to hotel Santa. We had our fourth stay in the last few days. It was previously a monastery, and the sense of peace and tranquility that pervades the place is magical. It is this aura that has drawn us back time and again. The hotel is clean and efficient, but not overly ornate. Perhaps it is in keeping with its former existence. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious. I was surprised that shower caps were not provided. I requested one at reception, but was told there were none. This should be rectified. Also, extra pillows had to be sought. It would be a good idea to keep two in the closet. These are very minor issues, and the fact that we are drawn to Hotel Santa again and again speaks for itself.

Stunning building and gardens set in a pine forest. Lots of walking and Espuña National Park on the doorstep. Excellent value.
