Perugia Farmhouse

What a lovey place! So peaceful. I came here for a few nights during a long trip around Europe. I had been bouncing from city to city and the days I spent here recharged me, I felt like a new person after my stay. The pool is lovely, the views are beautiful and hosts are very friendly.

the staff were lovely, the room was very large! the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the area was just beautiful

it was a shared bathroom (very clean though), but it meant it was a bit of a fight to get in the shower first in the mornings (but this didn’t cause any big issues)

The personal was kind.

The walls are thin between the rooms, some parts of the garden looks abandoned, the pool was a little dirty. There is a factory not so far away and makes some noise during the day. We didn't relax 100%

Didn't get breakfast due to early departure. Packed breakfast was promised but only got a few dry supermarket cakes.

Introduction when given keys was lacking. No info on food, facilities, use of communal spaces or kitchen. No intro about the pool or other interests on a so called agro farm. Bee hives were derelict and empty. No goats. Donkey is the neighbour's and in poor condition due to seed heads and flies. Both horses are the neighbour's. No rabbits. Geese and hens are there but no evidence of eggs or other agro/eco business. Generally just a place to stay with very limited resources and no rural Tuscany/Umbria interest. Strongly not recommended if you do not have your own transport. Wine saffron olive oil production....doesn't exist. Quite disappointed. Only highlight by far were the volunteers who were very friendly and helpful.
