Perugia Farmhouse

Beautiful localization, the view from the farmhause is absolutly stunning. The atmosphere was magical. We had wonderful time at the pool. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very helpful and it was easy to communicate in english. Over all, we enjoyed our visit.

Please be advise that you will probably get different room then the one shown on the booking pictures. Upon arrival, we were quite disappointed as we were 100% sure we are booking a specific room (there were only photos of that specific room when booking). We got a much smaller room with a slightly claustrophobic bathroom. I'm not sure if we would make a reservation knowing we would get another room. Every particular room is so different from others, that showing pictures of them all would be more fair to the guests, so they have an idea what they might get.

Breakfast was available and good value. The location was very restful and quiet but still central enough by car to reach the other areas such as Assisi and Perugia that we wanted to access.

Nice to live in the suburbs outside Perugia, big garden and our dog could run around and talk to the host's dog. Big pool that was a bit cool though, but i guess thats expected in mid october? So the setting was nice with a view over perugia and surroundings. But see below, other things were not so nice....

Our room was supposed to have a shower in the bathroom....Sure, there was a "shower", if you can call it that. The shower was not really useful, more like a symbolic thing they installed to add "value" to the room. value for the host! Shower was just a hole / alcove in the wall - In the bathroom, but with no shower curtain or anything. Super small shower = I am 185 cm tall and hit my head repeatedly on the shower head and could hardly fit inside the alcove, most of the water splashed all over the bathroom which became super slippery and dangerous. So I would say this shower was just added to trick people into booking a room with private bathroom + shower, but it was a joke. The host tried to act in a friendly manner but she just came across as stiff and stressed. Maybe she was stressed cause their whole garden seemed to host travellers, there were like around? 5 camper vans and the like, plus hotel/hostel guests. They kindof run a little village up there on their hill, seemed well managed enough - but we got the feeling that they're really trying to milk the property for cash income, by squeezing in too many people in the space they have and adding a basically useless shower and then daring to call it a room with shower. Would not stay there again because of this above.
