Kancamagus Lodge

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We asked to stay an extra night and they took care of us. The pool was so fun for the kids in the winter time. The beds were so comfortable.

The room was very dirty. After my complaint we were not offered a new room or someone to come clean the room.

Location is fantastic. Right next door to Loon Mountain and the Common Man (NH's best chain restaurant). We liberally parked at our motel door. We had 2 rooms that had a connecting door. Everything worked. It's a little dated, but that just adds to its rustic charisma. Pool was well heated. Great coffee in the lobby. Sauna in the bathrooms. One room had a microwave. Both had a small fridge.

Nothing to dislike. We had rooms 29 and 30 and they were great. The wifi was weak in these rooms, but did work 95% of the time.

Nothing really. Maybe extra pillows if anything.

We planned a day trip to drive up to the White Mountains. While making our rounds back over to the Lincoln are it was getting late and our engine light went on. I knew what the issue was but instead of taking a chance driving home late at night and maybe run into in issue we chose to find a place to stay. We figured we would find a place at a reasonable price and we quickly picked the Kancamagus Lodge. We have stayed here numerous times years ago under the former owners and right after the present owners took over. I have to say The Kanc Lodge was a wise choice. Very clean, beds were ok, and the person that checked us in was excellent. We took a quick ride down the street to purchase some snacks and toothpaste and other things because we didn't plan to stay over night. The Kanc Lodge is in a great spot at an even better price. If you want to stay somewhere clean, friendly, and just a few yards away from the crowds this is it. If you need an emergency stay over pick The Kanc Lodge.
