Central Plaza Hotel

Well located in the centre of Sofia, included breakfast was nice, the air conditioning was effective

Half of the curtain rail was missing, meaning that the light could not be blocked at all from entering the room which meant I woke up with the sunrise where I would have liked to sleep later. There was also a substantial amount of black mould in the room, and without proper ventilation the room felt musty and unpleasant to be in.

The location was great and the view from the hotel balcony.

Breakfast was alright, basic but you got few options. Clean rooms, the desk is always available and attentive, helped us get taxis to airport at 3 AM. The booking price was relatively cheap, so you get good worth to your money.

One of our room AC didnt work, others didnt had remote( u ask in lobby), same for TV remotes. My bed wasn't covered fully, and you see old and not so clean mattress that was exposed. Our refrigerator was cut from his plug while the other rooms were working. The rooms and hotel himself are old. If you're on a budget this hotel is a good option for you. Otherwise I would recommend taking newer or renovated hotel.

My room had string smell of cigarettes, very old furniture.
