"Lovely. Would def stay again."

We were able to get in the room early. Hotel location is lovely and quiet.

Restaurant wasn’t open which was a bit of a shame at a weekend. There was a pizza food truck but sadly it was raining quite hard so not sure how popular it was. Room was absolutely immaculate except for dirt and grimy limescale around the plug in the sink. As the rest was so clean this stood out.

"Drive a mile and stay at the Radisson hotel."

Old period room. Rustic.

Just the wrong price. WiFi awful. Breakfast was poor (no cooked breakfast option and breakfast “lounge” were three tables in the bar. Felt a little like Fawlty Towers.

Lovely old building friendly staff cutr donkeys plenty to do in reasonable distance very comfortable and dog friendly is great breakfast quality

"The location suited us for an overnight stay whilst attending a funeral."

Comfy room. Bottled water provided.

Doors banging at night. Food was only available if pre ordered and very limited choice. Ordered a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon in the bar but it was out of stock!!!

"Idealistic"

The location was amazing so peaceful and remote without being to remote . Lovely old building very classy and tastefully decorated . Beautiful views over fields with a river running through it with black swans and ducks .

The breakfast was a bit meh 🫤 but on the hole was ok

"Lovely old property"

Lovely property and grounds. Rooms clean, well furnished and equipped. Staff friendly and attentive. Car parking easy and plentiful.

Staff seemed a bit thin on the ground. Couldn't find anyone to serve drinks in either bar. Breakfast arrangements not good, had to keep asking for drink refills when staff came into room. Buffet for hot food wasn't ideal as people used same utensils for meat and veg items. Not nice for vegetarians, wife just had cereal because of this.
