Nice place to stay in Kanchipuram with very convenient location. Staff is courteous and friendly. Rooms are small but have all required facilities. Breakfast spread was good.

This is my first time stay at GRT Kanchipuram and I was very impressed with the service standards of one and all to start with the Attendant, who helped with parking my vehicle and the Lady Receptionist (the first two touch points). Since I was driving from Chennai I started at 6.30 am and reached the hotel by 8.30 am and she was kind enough to check me in immediately and with an extremely pleasant attitude , which is not usual even in the branded Five Star hotels most of the time. My stay was totally focused on visiting the three main temples and all the three of them are in the close vicinity of the hotel and that was a huge blessing. Mr Rajendran of the hotel along with one of his colleagues personally came with me Kanchi Kamakshi Amman temple and facilitated my serene and beautiful Darshan. The room was small but cosy and the linen and the towels were crisp and clean and would beat some of the Five Star Hotels and to provide this in a comparatively small city, this was wonderful indeed. The food in their one and only restaurant was good enough and the service was outstanding. A big thank you to all the staff there and especially to Rajendran and the Lady receptionist. My two days stay at this hotel was wonderful and looking forward to visiting GRT again soon

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Regency Kanchipuram by GRT Group from 28th February to 2nd March in Room No. 306. Our stay was truly pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is neat, clean, and well-maintained, offering all essential amenities. The room was well arranged and equipped with all the necessary facilities. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Satyam at the reception, who ensured a smooth and hassle-free check-in. During check-out, Ms. Hemlata assisted us efficiently. We had the opportunity to interact with both Satyam and Hemlata during our stay, and we found them to be sincere, courteous, and very helpful. The hotel features a good restaurant and a cozy bar. We enjoyed the breakfast on both days; however, we feel there is scope to expand the breakfast menu, as the variety was somewhat limited. On the first evening, we had the buffet dinner at the restaurant. While the food was good, the space felt slightly crowded due to limited seating, and the buffet options were also limited. On the following evening, we opted for room service and found both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to be very tasty and well prepared. We would also like to appreciate Nitya from the restaurant, who is a dedicated, attentive, and efficient staff member. She was helpful, quick, and very sincere in her service. Overall, we found the entire hotel staff to be courteous and kind. Our stay at Hotel Regency was comfortable and enjoyable. A local friend had mentioned that Hotel Regency is the best hotel in this holy town, and after our experience, we can certainly understand why.
