We were very pleasantly surprised by the great accommodations- and for a wonderful price! We had dinner at the hotel and the food was very good! And their breakfast buffet was very good also.

An amazing staff and great place and location if you tour by car

A beautiful older hotel in marvellous condition. Hotel staff were excellent.

Small calm rural hotel tucked in an industrial area but minutes to the walled city of Obidos. Very friendly staff offering a lot of information and generous with their time to ensure we have a pleasant stay.

Loved this hotel. Staff is very friendly and always helpful. Quiet hotel. Nice views from 2nd floor room. Very spacious room and bathroom. About 5 kilometers north of town. Easy drive if you have a car. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful grounds with lots of flowers. Pool looked very clean but we did not use it. Breakfast was good with cold meats and cheeses and breads and sweets and yogurt and cereal.

SIngle beds, not offered option of double. Hotel tucked away and hard to find. Wifi broken whilst we were there. Breakfast, only cold options. The place felt a bit soulless, but this may be because we were staying out of season. We stayed here specifically to see Caldas de Rainha and Obidos and were massively disappointed with both. The first because it is really tired and dirty and the second because it is nothing more than a massive tourist trap. Not the fault of the hotel, but we stayed two nights and wished we had only stayed for one. We did however travel across to Peniche and Obidos lagoon which we will probably return to see again.

Nice breakfast every morning. Screens on the windows so safe to leave open and not get insects coming in. We did miss having a pot to heat water in the room.

If you have a car, this is a really good option if you want to visit Obidos but stay in a quiet and charming inn. The outdoor is very nice as is the pool area although we didn’t have time to use it. Only drawback, there is no air conditionning. Wasn’t an issue for us as we stayed there in October but I can imagine it can get really hot in the middle of summer. It is also hidden behing a closed down hotel, so the first impression isn’t that good but as soon as you pass the gate, it changes altogether. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was just ok. I don’t see what other guests found that good.

Beautiful quiet retreat in the country outside Obidos.

Very welcoming. A personal tour is given on arrival with a welcoming drink. The staff are lovely. The room is spacious and comfortable. The pool area is nice, plenty of loungers, good sized clean pool. However, the day I sat out by the pool (late August) there were a multitude of biting flies which just wouldn't leave me alone unless I sat in the pool. Breakfast was wonderful, with delicious bread, cheeses, meats, pastries, yogurts, poor selection of cereals, but great range of fresh fruit. The room towels were quite thin and it was a struggle to lock the door with the key. But overall this was a lovely place to stay and we would go again. Obidos is a walled city with cobbled streets and a very long aqueduct going off into the distance. We ate some very nice meals there in traditional Portuguese restaurants recommended by the hotel.
