I’d like to leave a very honest review for Velvet Hotel Bar… mainly because I physically can’t remember most of it. Every time I walked in, I was full of life, good vibes, and questionable decisions. Within 20 minutes? Lights out. Gone. Folded like a deckchair. At first, I thought it was the cocktails—smooth, dangerous, and clearly laced with some kind of “goodnight sweetheart” potion. Then I blamed the comfy seating. Then the lighting. Then the music. At this point, I’m starting to think the place is just built on some sort of sleep vortex. Staff were great (from what I can recall before drifting into another dimension), drinks looked fantastic (judging by the photos I don’t remember taking), and the atmosphere? Apparently amazing—I’ve experienced it mostly with my eyes closed. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. If you’re looking for a classy night out… or the best accidental nap you’ll ever have in Manchester. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would sleep again.
