"Bed Bugs in room 212"

Check in and availability seemed great but now I know why it had availability.

Our room 212 had bed bugs. We checked in around 4 went and grabbed dinner. Arrived back about 10:45 p.m. got ready for bed and at around 11:30 p.m. my daughter said she felt bugs crawling on her. I flipped the lights on and there were bed bugs. Immediately loaded our stuff in the car and went to the front desk. I informed the man and showed him the picture I had taken. He asked if I wanted to switch rooms and that was a hard no, I want to check out. He said my room/account would be refunded and it hasn't been. I drove 4 hours home due to lack of availability in the area. I have called all day and no one will answer the phone number listed on Booking.com or Google.

"What a Mess"

I liked the front desk clerks. They were both nice but the young lady was exceptional.

The furniture in my room was falling apart and the carpet was very very very nasty. It looked like the stains from 10 years of previous guests staying in the room were never removed. Horrible. The fixtures in the bathroom are you falling apart including the toilet paper holders. No one should charge a guest to stay in such filth. I only stayed because nothing else was available once we got there. Hopefully management will make sure in the future that all this is corrected.
