Super 8 by Wyndham Stephenville

The facility was clean, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about, the price for the room was good.

Everything was supportive of my needs.

Didn't get the room we reserved. Staff was rude. Housekeeping actually opened our door in the morning.

Great location, only 3 miles from my grandparents home. Pet friendly and very accommodating. Helpful friendly staff. Quick check in. Felt safe and secure.

The shower was broken and difficult to manage. The toilet paper holder was dirty and broken. The ice makers were broken and vending machines out of order. Still. 8 out of 10.

We didn't get past the lobby! When we entered the parking lot, there were only a few cars (much less than expected for the time of evening we arrived). We entered the lobby and was hit by a wall of stink & heat, I have no idea what smells that bad! It was warm outside (lower 90's) and the lobby wasn't cool at all. There was no staff at the front desk. We sat there long enough to discuss what we wanted to do for several minutes and by the time we left, still no staff anywhere. I've never had this terrible of an experience at a motel/hotel before. We left the property and went somewhere else for the night.

The pool kept my son occupied, we were close to my husband’s job site.

Nobody came in and cleaned our room and we had a brown recluse spider come in on a set of towels I had asked for earlier that day because nobody came by to clean the room up. My son got sick from sun poisoning not the motel‘s fault by the way, but I had to go to the front desk at two in the morning and ask them to please give me something to clean it up with all I could do is give me towels luckily we had some cleaner because we’re getting ready to move into an apartment close by and so I use their towels and our cleaner to clean up my son‘s vomit mess as then politely bagged them up in plastic bag so that they didn’t have to actually touch them and set them outside. I apologize for the mess, but what I figured they would do is since we’re paying for the room is offered to give us another room to stay in and so that room could be clean and disinfected, and I hope they disinfected after we left.
