Neptune Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Hotelli oli ihan ok, mutta mielestäni jo parhaat päivänsä nähnyt.

mukava kokemus, jos matkakohde mombasa, valitsen saman hotellin. mukavan kokoinen, ei liian suuri.

Food was very bad

Positivt överaskad. Har tidigare bott närmare Bamburi och det här hotellet ligger strax norr om White Sand och Travellers. Rummen helt ok och för en gångs skull hotell i Kenya där madrasserna inte är stenhårda. Mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal, mycket aktiviteter och underhållning. All inclusive-utbudet finns i baren intill poolen med fria inhemska drycker och även möjlighet till snacs, sandwich osv långt inpå kvällen. Det blir fler besök.

I really enjoyed my stay in Mombasa. There were a few negatives that in have to discuss. 1. The towels that were provided the first day were terrible towels. I think they may have been new but not sure. All I know is that when we dried off using the towels, there was white fuzz all over our bodies after using the towels. I went to the front desk to have them replaced. Unfortunately, the other negative was the freshness of the towels. The towels used the entire time never smelled nice and clean. The most negative thing was the beach boys in front of the hotel. I have been to a lot of places but this was the worst I've ever seen for getting hammered with beach boys trying to sell you everything from small items to excursions. There were many times I wanted to swim in the ocean but I did not want to get hassled by the beach boys going to and from the ocean.

Food was o.k. Only one restaurant which served a buffet every night but good variation of foods. Bar served a very limited selection of cocktails. One thing that was brilliant and I have never seen anywhere else is that after breakfast time, 0700-1000hrs you could get a late breakfast at the pool/ snack bar!! Great if you fancy a lay in!!...after all it is a holiday!,

Our stay at Neptune Beach Resort was perfect. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and professional. Animation group arranged all kinds of activates during the day and evening. Location is amazing. You have a nice view to Indian ocean while having breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel has fast Wifi, nice snack bar where you can order e.g. hamburger meals ( free since all inclusive) and guards to ensure that you are not disturbed while you are having your Cuba-Libre. Drinks are strong so be careful. There is a shopping mall close by called Nakumatt. You can take a Matatu from the main road - CHEAP! Don't use your smart phone outside the hotel, dress like a hobo, carry your stuff in local market plastic bag, remove your Rolex and bling bling rings, etc.. If you want to see Mombasa, e.g. Forth Jesus, get a personal driver to show you around.

It is smaller then the Voyager Hotel Resort where I have been before. There were not many guests during my stay, maybe therefore the choice of food was not so great, but the food was okay. Also the animation was not that great. The staff was great!!! I think this hotel is 8 from 10 points worth. To be recommemded.
