Residence & Conference Centre - Oshawa

Very clean residence apartment. There’s two rooms and a little kitchenette. People at front desk are very nice

This hotel is OK for a one or 2 night stay, it was clean and the staff were helpful.

Nothing like what we paid for, Showed pictures of two bedrooms with two double beds and kitchenette with sofa, We booked for 4 adults and got two rooms with one bed, uncomfortable I might add. When I explained we had booked for four the response was we will add another room but you will pay for it. No thanks we did get second room for my other two guest but at a different hotel. There was only two chairs and a small bar table no couch so four people could not have had a meal together unless they sat in two different rooms. Will never recommend this to anyone

Nice place but hard to find . The hotel is in a university campus and needs more signs to indicate where it is located. Breakfast is not included and you have to pay extra

We didn’t realize that the accommodations were actually located in the college grounds. It was challenging to find. Our room wasn’t booked properly on their end, thankfully I had my confirmation email. The staff were very nice & helpful in sorting out the problem. The wifi was brutal. If we got on, it kicked us off shortly afterwards. The desk staff was as helpful as they could be. We were located on the 5th floor. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallway and garbage that remained on the floor from when we checked in to when we checked out. The room itself was comfortable enough-like I said-we didn’t realize they were dorm rooms. So for a quick stay over it was comfortable enough. Nothing really close by, all restaurants are a driving distance.

Negative: This location was extremely hard to find! The actual road that it is on is NOT Convocation Drive. There is no number or signage that would help you know that you are there (or even close to there). Staff were pleasant but did not go beyond that - they did not offer up helpful information unless asked. Positive: The room was comfortable, clean, quiet and very affordable.

Very basic accommodations, but when you’re only paying $65 a night you don’t really expect much more. Front desk was very pleasant. Good for a one night stay where you won’t be spending too much time in the room. We stayed here while visiting family for 1 night. Will probably stay again next time too. Just don’t expect luxury!

Overall, the stay in the two bedroom residence was ok. However, there are no TV's in the bedrooms. There is just one in the living area. Got to watch it for a few minutes and then the cable went out for the night! The A/C was not working. It was very warm all night long. There was a couple of areas in the vinyl flooring that were ballooned up. The accessible bathroom was pretty good. The shower was large and had a built-in bench. Finding the residence was very difficult as there was no address on the building nor any sign indicating that it was a hotel for the summer. The parking lot was a nightmare. It is gated and you have to take a ticket to get in. The desk clerk gave me a get out of the parking free ticket which wouldn't work the next day. I had to call the gate attendant to let me out of the parking lot.
