"You get what you pay for"

6.0

I knew that this was a college residence that rents rooms out, so I wasn't expecting a 5 star hotel. Finding it was very tricky. I used Expedia's APP to get directions, but they only led me as far as the campus. Finding the actual building, set amidst many other campus buildings was impossible. I had to call the residence, and the very helpful clerk gave me directions as we manouvered through the campus, and even let me know when she could see our car. The rooms were very clean, and beds were comfortable enough but small, and no extra pillows. There was a breakfast included in the rate, but they were doing power upgrades in that building, so it was limited to a few muffins, yogurts and fruit cups, tea and coffee, and what turned out to be sour milk. A cheap, clean room to sleep is what they offer, and that's what we got. Wouldn't be my first choice, but reasonable for what was offered. Really appreciate that it is pet friendly (for stays under 72 hours) and they do not charge a fee for having a small pet with you.

"Value, cleanliness, no luxury"

4.0

I booked last minute at 11pm at night. Thought I would save a little....Surprised when GPS brought me to campus....Wished I had paid $15 more and stayed a a "real" hotel with a nicer bed...but had a relatively good night's sleep in the basic double bed. Much better value for families travelling economically with kids! 2 bedroom units standard! LOTS of food and food choices in the cafeteria for breakfast.....was not for me.

"Clean and Affordable"

8.0

Remember this is a university campus! We enjoyed our stay since it was minutes away from our seminar. Our rooms were clean, but quite worn. Friday night brought swarms of noisy teenagers with little supervision. But it's a campus and they're kids. It's to be expected. Breakfast was a continental breakfast including multigrain bagels, yogurt, fruit and cereals. All food must be eaten in the dining hall. Parking was a little confusing, especially since the person who checked us in explained nothing about it. So had a gone with my instinct and further questioned him, a lot of hassle would have been avoided. I would stay here again, even with the ruckus of teenagers :)

"Parking problems"

8.0

The rooms were great. The hotel, no problems. The parking lot? Big problems! Parking is supposed to be free for guests but when you go to leave there are barriers in place. To get security to lift the gates so you can leave is a big hassle. Telling them you are a hotel guest is not enough, it is a big hassle.

"Two room apartment great when staying with kids."

8.0

We had a great time here. It was a little hard to find but we were glad with our choice. Not sure if we were just lucky but hotel breakfast was amazing. Great choice of food - wonder if this is because there was a Summer camp happening whilst we were there. We were travelling with a six year old and having two bedrooms meant we all got some sleep after a long flight from the UK. Very impressed with the cost two. Fantastic value

"Comfortable"

8.0

This is very unusual but practical. It is a college dorm used on downtime for outside travelers. There are two bedrooms per unit with a common room which has a TV and phone. There is individual wifi and each room has a desk and closet area for clothes. The rooms are clean and towels changed every day. A very good choice for a low price.

"Good"

We were not aware this was a dorm. There was no mention of the college on expedia. It was very clean, but the room was 'no frills' to put it lightly.
