Residence & Conference Centre - Kitchener-Waterloo

These rooms are very dated with 30 year old blinds that barely function, a tv that has sound cutting in and out, plus missing some basics like coffee and tea that most hotels offer. The air/con kinda worked if you set it below 70. It's great to have two separate bedrooms but the place seemed manky overall for the room rate that one pays. In general, the KW area lacks good hotels near the airport. So you can chance things with a private bnb or a cheap motel I suppose.

Very loud HVAC vent made sleeping difficult, kitchenette was not very helpful without any dishes, cutlery etc and no coffee maker or even a kettle

clean and quiet. Toilets looked cracked. Property looks worn

Great location and price.

Unfortunately they had switched over the heating for the summer and the rooms were cold.

The price, the location, the fact that there were two rooms, a small kitchenette.

The room is dated and the wallpaper is stained. The blinds on the windows do not block out any light.

Room smelled really bad,(both rooms). Stayed at Mohawk college residence the week before it was wonderful. This was similar, just a bit gross. You could get used to the smell after an hour. Smoke alarm went off after every shower, remember to keep the bathroom door closed, a quick fan should stop this. Holes in the wall where lights have been changed. Woke up in the middle of the night thinking it was morning because the blinds were broken. Cable on tv would blank out the sound every 30 seconds for About 3 seconds( annoying). Would probably be fine if it didn't stink. Maybe just should have manned up and got another room. Probably would have been great. Good luck
