BaySide Salgados

Great experience, a bit short.I Was in Salgados during the May bank holliday, but I think I would go back definitvely.Lots to see, the white sand and the blue waves, the smell of the ocean is worth.Lovely sunny days I had.

The stay was ok, was expecting something different to be honest but it was not bad. Internet service annoying especially with 3 English channels on tele. Nice location to the beach and quiet and hassle free. Brilliant staff

Well I was optimistic as the pics and information looked good, I have stayed in many budget resorts but I am sorry to say this was a bad one for myself and my fiancée... first room allocated on ground floor was awful and smelt of sewage with an open terrace next to main pathway and no privacy at all. second offering was with balcony, very basic with nowhere to put anything and cooking area very small with no storage. now the worst thing was the noise from all manner of places, the water system from other apartments all hours was deafening. close proximity of front doors of apartments was also very disturbing with constant door banging. the pool area was the only plus point, bar area was deserted in the evening on our visit so a car ride to Albufeira was required for an evenings entertainment, after 7 days I need some sleep and a kitchen that is a little more useful, as for the old 12 portable tv ,,, forget it. an update is required here. if you want internet go to shopping centre WORTEN and get data sim,, very cheap... sorry I will not return here....best of luck if you do...

Great place to stay for a nice quiet holiday, friendly staff and very helpful . The only drawback is if you wanted to join some out of complex nightlife :- Bars or restaurants or go for an evening people watching it is not easy as it's too far out in the sticks.

We absolutely loved it at this hotel. Room was lovely and comfy . The staff were fantastic and friendly. Didn't want to leave . Made us feel so welcome Thankyou bayside ,our holiday was fantastic Pool and poolside was lovely and clean. Saw them cleaning it down in the evening. Supermarket and a gorgeous beach out of the way ( I called it our little piece of paradise) only ten mins walk away . Would love to go back to it all. Hopefully next year . Hotel lovely and quiet . Loved it x

The accommodation is in studio apartments with small kitchen area. All very clean and well equipped. All have a huge balcony. Lovely feeling of privacy. Pool and pool area very clean and well equipped. Only had breakfast for an additional cost. Perfectly acceptable. Staff were extremely helpful. Once we had sorted out the correct route, the nearest beach was a 10 minute walk away.

Just spent a week here and had a great time. Peaceful family resort .500 metres to large supermarket and 900 metres to beach. Bayside is a small complex of 90 apartments in 2 storey blocks around the pool. . Our 2nd storey studio was just right for 3 people and had a wrap around balcony- only hassle was the narrow spiiral stairs!. Basic cooking facilities- microwave 2 ring hob, fridge and kettle. But there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and Bayside do tasty lasagnas pizzas and curries so you can always eat in!.The staff are brilliant and can't do enough to help you! A special thank you for being so patient with your guests. Bayside is perfect for a quiet holiday away from the bustle of old and new town of Albufeira . Tough a shuttle bus is provided if you want to visit Albufeira. The beaches around Salgados are the best in the whole of the Algarve- and so clean

great hotel and extremely friendly staff. only negative is the location as its a 20 minute taxi to the strip. would recommend this hotel for older people and young families

Very average apartment in a nice complex. Really hard to find this place which is about 7 klms out of town. Not within walking distance to beach although closest beach was very nice. apartment was small and ot smelt of sour milk. best thing was a big swimming pool which looked very clean restaurant on site but didn't try it. very reasonably priced. Had a small kitchenette with fridge.

Lovely accomodation with nice surroundings and close proximity to the beach. The pool area was really nice.
