Cheap holiday away equalled cheap poor quality hotel! Apartment was basic but the bathroom and bedroom had an awful smell and I found it difficult to breathe.....not sure if it had damp or poor ventilation. Bed so hard and uncomfortable we preferred to sleep on the sofa. And lots of ants in the kitchen area! One staff lady got ruder and ruder as the week went on, snapping and giving attitude. So much so that we chose to eat breakfast at the cute little hotel cafe next door. I feel like she’s over worked but her rudeness ruined the trip! The rest of the staff however was a delight and incredibly helpful, chatty and lovely. The pool was clean but very cold! Lots of sun loungers. The grounds were beautiful and clean. Beach about 15 minute walk away, it was truly stunning. We spent most of our days at the beach. I suggest you take a trip to old town, lots of restaurants, bars, shops and another amazing beach. Overal I would 100% go to Portugal again, but never ever ever stay at bayside salgados

Excellent stay room basic but got all your need. Staff really help full we were passengers affected by monarch and they were really helpful in assisting us. Shuttle great for getting into Albuferia but there is a bus nearby that you can get to there as well we used it to get to the bus station and went for the day to Alvor lovely place for a visit. Excellent beach a 10 min walk with a great restaurant 5 min away overlooking the sea. We went to the Italian restaurant again only 10 min walk and the food was lovely. We will definitely go again.

Lively atmosphere at the bar. Small but clean swimming pool. Nice basic apatments. Looks newly renovated. Unfortunately there is nothing much to do around. There is a shop close by. Walk to the beach is about 10-15 walk.

Lovely place to stay when in Portugal, Will be booking to go again next year. The hotel staff are excellent and can't do enough for you.

Lovely experience overall. Great staff. Lovely poolside and entertainment area. Spacious roof with balcony. Main downfall: very steep and shallow stairs, and an awkward bathroom (uncomfortable layout, low light, and no head space in bath as the wall is literally after the bath rather than a few centimeters behind it). Kitchen facilities not used.

Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience. Good facilities and close enough to the beach.

Adequate apartments in a location that is away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing staff, cheap shuttle to town, clean pool and well kept gardens. Local supermarket 10 mins away that sold everything at reasonable prices. Only 10 mins walk from a stunning beach.
