The property was good the only complaint was and is the ridiculous charge of the pet fee of $140 I have traveled plenty of time’s …. the pet fees are between $25 -$75 Some hotels they have no fee…..

The staff make you feel at home with the best included breakfast we've ever experienced! The beach is just a short walk away and their are great hiking trails starting right behind the hotel that cover a large area with birds, turtles, alligators, and other wildlife. Grocery stores are very close.

staff was super friendly , breakfast was the best buffet I have ever had...love how you made a little coffee station with flavor syrups and whip cream...and someone was always wiping up the counter tops as guests can be sloppy and I would stay here again in a heart beat..also the shuttle driver was friendly and prompt. this is one of my favorite hotels!

not a thing other than not getting my bonvoy points bc the room was booked through a third party (booking.com)

Everything was top notch. The breakfasts were excellent and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Fernandina Beach.

Great hotel relaxing stay

Oh my! It was so great! The hotel, the staff, the food, the pool…. What a great experience! This is the only hotel on Amelia Island I would recommend! The free shuttle service to anywhere on the island, complimentary ice cream every day! Outstanding customer service and friendliest housekeeping department! The front desk representatives were so helpful!

This is a great hotel choice for Amelia Island. The rooms are large and comfortable. They have a very nice outdoor area with a pool putt putt place and a hot tub. The breakfast was really good. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Located right next to the Egan Creek Trail system.

We stayed there for a week to visit my sick father in his final days. We had some room problems, and had to switch rooms, but that was resolved. And, you can already see the good ratings on the hotel, which is indicative of their good work. So, my focus here is on two employees. First, HP did a great job helping me arrange a room change. (My family came in and we moved to a larger room, and HP was a great help.) Second, when my wife went to the front desk to see if the hotel had a CD player-- yes, in the old days, sometimes Residence Inns loaned those things out. Obviously they don't anymore, but the front desk employee (Tiffany, I believe) said, "I might have one in my car." And she went out to get it to loan us-- still in the box. We borrowed that CD player and used it to play an old CD that my dad and oldest daughter had recorded over 20 years ago. So, all that to say, great job with some great employees there at the Residence Inn.
