Fairfield Inn & Suites Chattanooga I-24/Lookout Mountain

When I made my reservation, it would not let me choose a handicap room. I am an amputee and am in a wheelchair. We needed two rooms as we were traveling with our son. When I arrived at the property, I asked for an accessible room. She said. O problem they had a lot. I then asked if it had two beds or one bed and a pullout couch. She states only one bed, and asked if I needed two. I said yes or a pullout couch. They could not accommodate my family in an accessible room. I asked if we could get a second room at no additional cost because of the inconvenience, and was of course told no. We went to our room, I could not shower, my chair barely fit in the bathroom and I could not move it around to wash my hands and had to balance to wash my hands. The GM refuses to do anything to rectify the situations as well as corporate, they told me I had to contact the property directly, when I explained I did, I was told there was nothing corporate could do. So not only did the hotel humiliate me by not finding reasonable accommodations, I cried the entire night and could not even shower!!! A basic human right!! If you are a family that is traveling with anyone who requires an accessible room, stay away from this location!!!!! I do intend to contact a lawyer as well, if they chose not to rectify the situation, I have been left with no choice.

Close to were we wanted to be. Was clean and nice. Staff friendly.

Room small not enough room for suitcases.

We are so glad we decided to make reservations here. It’s in such a great location with great restaurants and things to do. It’s sits on top of a mountain so we had a great view. The room was very nice and quiet. They also have an indoor pool which was nice.

The hostess checking us in was so nice and efficient.

Stayed hear are last day of are holiday, didn’t check reviews it was a last minute thing after trailing all day, my wife went in to check availability as we didn’t book,we don’t do booking .com you have no one to go back to if something is wrong they pass the buck, anyway my wife went in to reception no one there she had to go and find the cleaner to go and find someone, after finding the receptionist she couldn’t be bothered not helpfull at all. We went out for a few hours. Came back no one on reception again. People could just walk in and out. As for the room we had room number 205 second floor back of hotel clean room comfy bed. But room it dated, also could hear everything from adjacent rooms walls like paper,also windows don’t keep noise out ,you can hear all the traffic from the bottom of the hill si if your a light sleeper like me find somewhere els

Wonderful room! So clean. We had a bad experience at Spring Hill Marriott in Florida and came to this hotel headed home. They were able to check us in at 1am in 5 minutes!Such a relief this place was. Clean, smelled great, plenty of towels, smiling/sweet staff, and great breakfast! Opposite of the other Marriott.
