OUTRIGGER Phi Phi Island Resort

Great stay at the Zeavola resort. There were some minor issues which were sorted out very quickly and well. We had called up the resort to send someone at the pier but there was no one there. We arrived at the reception at the time of check in i.e. 2pm and were told that the room will take another hour to be ready. On protesting they thankfully gave us another room which was an upgrade so that ended well. The resort is beautiful the beach is great and the restaurant serves great food.

The lightning on the room was to bright couldn’t dim the lights. No products to fight the mosquito was offered. For the price we pay we should get more. The food was bad

The day trips via long boat snorkeling around phi phi were great and totally worth it. However, we has to kill two roaches and we had to remove at least 15 centipedes from our room. They were seriously everywhere. Music was very loud from the bar area at night, and it could be heard from the room. We also had a frustrating interaction with staff. Food was pricey and disappointing, and there was a lack of electrical outlets in the rooms. Getting to the resort is very tricky and expensive as it is on the opposite side of the island from where most of the ferries will take you, and there are no roads. Without warning, we were caught in a massive cloud of fumigation while we were swimming in the pool. We watched pool goes flee from the area but there was no where to go. It was very difficult to breath and kind of scary to be honest. Overall, I think this resort is extremely overrated and expensive. You can do much better for the money. We stayed at the Santhiya Resort in Koh Phangan the following nights and literally none of these issues.

The property was truly amazing. Great, secluded beach, luxury island accommodations, etc. The one thing I would recommend is that they should offer easy boat shuttles to other parts of the island, specifically center Phi Phi as there are no roads or ways to get there other than by boat. At the moment they offer you the option to reserve a shuttle boat, but at an expensive rate. And if you stay in the resort (which is totally an option) it does limit you to their restaurants only. The other sides of Phi Phi also have more exciting things going on in the night as well. Other than that, it is probably the best hotel/resort on the island.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are all their own bungalow/villa and are beautiful and well kept. The staff is very helpful and nice. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Zeavola was amazing, room was exactly what you’d expect to experience in Thailand, rustic and simple but having all of the amenities you’d need to feel like you’re in a luxury resort. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food was incredible. We just got home yesterday and already are in Thailand withdrawal. Hopefully someday we’ll be able to get back. Thank you for a wonderful memory Zeavola!

Staff are very friendly and helpful but I've ordered special service for honeymoon but reception staff didn't know that. So I had to explain when I checkd in. I wanted make my wife surprise but it couldn't.

Amazing! Could not of asked for a better resort! The staff were so friendly and the location is amazing. Highly recommend!

It’s very unique resort, quiet, clean. No many activities especially in the evening.

The hotel design, location and service is absolutely incredible. This place is really unique. Plants and insects etc all around so be prepared to embrace nature. Majority of guests were couples on honeymoon which we didnt know about and the activities were a lot more limited than we were hoping for. Little to no group tours, spa under renovation and no resort type activities so keep in mind it’s really quiet. we did diving with Eduardo - He was really nice and reliable. Food is really good too, but a lot more expensive than closeby alternatives. Phuket- Hotel speedboat ride was bumpy due to weather. Would certainly recommend this place for couples who want to go on a romantic break.
