Hotel Mount Manor

I stayed in this hotel only for 5 hrs with my very old parents. Really pathetic place to stay.This hotel is very near to airport, so its easy to be cheated.The main issue is the ROOM. Bathroom is not cleaned, full of dirt,Close set is dirty,Full of mosquitoes,Bed sheet is not clean,Ac will be cut off all the time,Not even on switch is working, Fan regulator not working, so it will work only in 5,My parents had really tough time.Only good thing was, we asked tea by night 1 am and we got good TEA.Not parking area.Pathetic place to stay.

Firstly the location is such that it is close to airport , adjacent to the main road and close to Metro station so very convenient. Rooms are of reasonable size and clean. As airport runway is close there is a little disturbance due to noise. There is facility of complimentary pickup and drop from airport so no worry if you have to go at any time to catch a flight or arrive at late night. Pricing is a bit on higher side. Restaurant is good and clean and you get a nice complimentary breakfast. Overall a convenient place.

Rooms are clean and good. Located in the mount road and easy to go to the airport and other places. They don't have the car parking area and we have to keep the car out side the main road. Bathrooms are small.

Went to drop my relatives to that place, very poorly maintained hotel, it’s absolutely doesn’t look like the pics shown by the hotel. Highly ill-mannered staffs too. Absolutely no space In the lobby. Couldn’t take my car inside to drop my guests though it was raining, my relatives had to walk in the rain, just because there was a hotel car standing in front of the lobby.

This hotel is located around 5 kms away from Chennai airport. Had booked a room and pick up from the aiport. We landed in Chennai close to midnight and found that the pick up had not arrived. Called the hotel and it seems that they forgot about it. So, we were left stating on the sidewalk outside the arrival hall for about 45 minutes for that car to arrive. Not a pleasant experience at this hour and after a long flight. After we got picked up, everything was fine. The hotel room was recently renovated and was nice and clean. (When you book, ask for the refurbished rooms). Had a nice sleep before our next flight. Breakfast menu was limited but whatever was available was fine.

It was a wonderful experience at mount manor, their hospitality was excellent, I had booked 6 rooms for an international Conference of our college, all foreign guests were really happy,rooms were specious and food in the restaurant were also excellent, particularly staffs were highly cooperative. Highlight is the free pickup n drop to airport, excellent location very near to airport. I will surely recommend and it is the best of its class
