Since it was summer, I was worried about the lack of air conditioning, but the Sydney summer was very cool and no problem at all

Everything was better than I had imagined.

Loved the communal area open plan with tree views, high on stilts. Loved the tent set up bathroom and outdoor area.

The only problem was I was sleeping on a camp bed probably better for a child. The other person my friend had the king bed. I think it would be better to separate the beds into two singles so that we have both have a good night sleep! My back was very sore after this.

Full nature, comfy bed, fun bathroom.

Beautiful place, very well run.

Nothing, but be aware the cicadas are very loud during daylight hours! I’d recommend bringing some headphones or ear plugs so you can get a break from them when you need to.

It was better than we ever expected and the dinner and breakfast included was absolutely amazing! Will be going back not just for the restaurant but to stay again

I recently stayed at Paperbark Camp, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite the beautiful setting, the hygiene issues in our tent were unacceptable, especially given the high price of AUD 700 per night. Firstly, the bedding was poorly maintained. The blanket near the head area wasn't sealed properly, and the yellow blanket underneath had a strong fishy odor. This smell was so intense that it caused me nasal discomfort, and my husband ended up with a severe headache. To make matters worse, when we tried to use the alternative blanket provided in the room, we found a long strand of hair on it. This was absolutely disgusting and made us feel even more uncomfortable. I tried contacting the property multiple times – leaving a voicemail, sending messages, and even contacting Booking.com's customer service. Despite being told that the property would respond within nine hours, we heard nothing from them. For a place that charges such a premium, these issues are unacceptable. I expected much better standards, and unfortunately, this experience has left a very negative impression. I would not recommend staying here.
