Very unique concept. Restaurant was amazing and seemed to be the main focus. Tents were cool.

The entrance and road leading in are underwelming. There is no proper reception. It is the restaurant bar. For the price I expected help w luggage. They did take to tent on golf cart after we unloaded and self parked a ways off. The tents are cool and well appreciated for a tent. We had mice trying to get in pretty soon after occupying. We tried to be very careful about food and drink in the tent. We stuffed wash cloth in a large gap and towel under back doors gap. When trying to take a shower a swarm of bees arrived. After complaining to manager she said she tried to find mouse that ran under bed and do something w bees but nothing much was really done. It was a very hot near 100 f day but they did nothing to accommodate guests. Ice delivered to rooms or maybe fans would’ve been nice. Management seemed a bit overwhelmed and came across disinterested. Bikes are a joke. In pic on website they show cute comfy beach bikes but what they offer are ten speed skinny seat bikes. Good luck canoeing or paddle boarding cause dock was broken and not safe. Again the food was so good and the food service was pretty good. But accommodation service very lacking.

Fantastic property! Very clean with gorgeous toiletries provided. Beautiful bush setting, with nothing but the sounds of nature. The outdoor bathroom was such a peaceful experience and there was something magical about having a bath and seeing nothing but beautiful paperbark trees. Absolutely incredible food for both breakfast and dinner. The cocktails were also amazing! Beautiful, friendly and approachable staff. We will definitely be back. The only small issue is that a table top fan that can be charged with a USB cable, would have helped with the stuffiness of a tent. Overall a magical experience

Paperbark camp is an experience like no other. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is next level amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely incredible. Overall a wonderful experience.

It is a unique place to stay, where you are surrounded by nature, in comfort and with a level of sophistication. Wonderful restaurant.

The staff is the best part of the stay. Giada and Theo were lovely and always available for the entire weekend. Also, the food at the restaurant is 5 stars. Although these are the only positive comments I have about our stay.

This location is not ideal for a honeymoon or those who aren't enthusiastic about camping or "glamping". My experience here had several drawbacks that weren't highlighted in previous reviews. Firstly, the tent lacks privacy and is smaller than it appears in the photographs. It's situated in an area with frequent foot traffic, both day and night, allowing passersby clear visibility inside. It's important to note that the tent, being traditional, lacks power outlets, a detail not mentioned in the main description. This means limited options for using electronic devices, with phone charging being the only feasible option. Secondly, the presence of wild animals, particularly possums, around the tent can be disconcerting. Despite being warned the night before to keep food in our cars, we experienced a disturbing incident with possums fighting on our patio at 3 am, causing considerable noise and shaking the tent, which was quite frightening and disrupted our sleep for over an hour. While the restaurant offers excellent food, the menu is repeated for two consecutive nights, limiting dining options. Additionally, service can be slow; we experienced a 45-minute wait for bread and butter, although the staff graciously offered a discount on our bottle due to this delay. Overall, considering the high cost, the experience fell short of expectations, particularly in terms of comfort and convenience.

Although the location and tents are amazing, it is the staff and the food that stand out above the rest. The staff make a huge effort to get to know you, take a genuine interest in your experience and are always on had to help with advice on activities, make recommendations, or simply tempt a curious Possum away from your tent! Although the hotel is listed as a 3 star, the service and attention to detail in your experience is a good as any 5 star hotel we’ve stayed in. The food and restaurant setting are a highlight also.
