"Worn and Dirty"

Been a Marriott customer for years and years. Honestly, this is one to forget. Place is beat up, worn out, and sadly, dirty. I’ve been at old properties and have given them a pass, this seems fairly new, which makes everything that much worse. Furniture is chipped up, laminate is peeling, chunks missing. Really, how do you move the TV but leave the holes the mount was attached with. Pulled one comforter down and noticed yellow stains. Nope. Not again. Kind gas turn me away from Element in the future

"Avoid! No air conditioning and mold"

No air conditioning! It's 6 am and 78 degrees in my room! The staff doesn't care. Apparently it's been an issue in a lot of the rooms for over a year, but it hasn't been repaired. Also there's a constant smell of mold throughout the hotel, especially in the hallways, but also in the room. Public areas look great and are cool, but not the rooms.

I always stay at this Element when I have to come the DFW area for work. The staff are always nice and the happy hour at the end of the day is alwways great and accommodating. One time, I came back to the hote tired from a long day and I saw that I had just missed happy hour because the bartender was already packing up. But when he saw me, he pulled out two cold beers for me to take up to my room to enjoy. The location is also great because it's close to the major highways, near good food (and variety of choices) and also close to the airport. Highly recommend it!
