Nice hotel.

The Element Hotel was great. Great service, great location, great staff, friendly staff, very clean room with everything you need including dinnerware and silverware. I rate this hotel a 10 out of 10!

First day front desk staff was significantly more friendly than end of our stay staff. The breakfast was good, way better than most hotels, and the staff that supported that we great. They do need do not disturb signs as they started knocking at 9:30 for a total of three times by 11. I understand they want to get at their job as quick as they can but there were no do not disturb signs and checkout was noon

Here's the thing, I stayed here 6 or 7 years ago and it was pretty great, I really enjoyed it and thought it was much nicer than the places I usually stay. It has not stood the test of time at all. This place is badly in need of a renovation and is past it's prime. The couches are stained to the point I don't want to sit on them, the flooring has damage, the millwork shows obvious water damage, the appliances are dented, the paint is chipped throughout all surfaces, the wood furniture is stained and water damaged and the bedding is kind of grossing me out because they put a comforter on the bed but no cover on it and the pillows look yellow and aren't tucked into the pillow cases. This place is badly in need of a refresh. On the up side, the gym is well appointed and the equipment worked. All the rooms have filtered water in them which is a nice amenity and the complimentary happy hour is a nice touch. Shout out to the bartender who gave me my wine in a coffee cup to bring up to my room, you are the true MVP of this hotel. There are some decent places to eat within walking distance or that are a short drive away, the location is pretty good and the place is pretty quiet. I stay in the area frequently and I *may* give it one more shot just to see if I got a dud of a room, but it's definitely not as nice as it used to be.

The Element Hotel in Irving was absolutely amazing. All amenities were spectacular and the staff was helpful, polite and made me feel at home. 10/10 would recommend.

We drive an EV. We paid extra to stay here because they advertise as an accommodation that they have EV Chargers on their website and Hotels.com I even called to confirm that they had EV charging, and they said yes. I drove the whole parking lot...NEVER saw a charging station. I finally asked the front desk clerk to show me where it was...he just kept pointing in a general direction and said unfortunately, there was a car parked in front of it. He didn't say that it hasn't worked in years etc. they just tried to stick with the script that they have EV charging as he began to give me directions to a charging station 10 minutes away. SEE MY PIC. I asked if he could just cancel my reservation so that we could find another hotel with charging and he said..."Sorry I can't because you pre-paid for the room. I've NEVER seen a "charging station" this old. It didn't even have power cables on it. Took us about 2.5 hours going around town, and finding available chargers and get charged up. In the morning, I asked for the manager... conveniently NOT available. The front desk clerk told me that that charging station was about 14 years old and hadn't worked in years! What!?!? The front desk clerk said she would pass on my complaint to the manager. I asked if there was anything they could do for me because of the situation stating verbally over the phone and on their website...they did not do one thing to make this right. BEWARE! Hotels.com should make them remove EV Charging off website.

EV OWNERS BEWARE!! False Advertising about having EV chargers. We paid about $40.00 more to stay here because of the "EV charging capability." Staff lied verbally over the phone while confirming they had EV charging. They advertise on their website that they have EV charging. THIS IS NOT TRUE! They have an old charging pole that morning staff told me it was about 14 years old and had not worked in years. It did not even have charging cables on it. It is just so frustrating that not only are they lying on their website, but the staff have been trained to lie over the phone and in person as well. Took us about 2.5 hours driving around the area to find charging stations and to get charged up. When I confronted the morning staff...manager was conveniently unavailable, and when I asked what they could do to make this right...they did NOTHING! BEWARE!

Great location, nice big room. Great breakfast.
