All Nations Brisbane - Hostel

Nothings beats the location of this hostel! However, the 8-bed dorm I stayed in had exactly one window that could be opened - right above the night club and a busy road. Noise level is constantly high. Shower facilities are old and not well maintained. Reception staff never looked up when I was waiting. Bed linen is clean. Mattresses are worn - you can feel the springs. Shame it doesn't seem to bother with comfort.

If you're looking for somewhere to meet people and have a great time for a few days this is the place! Although no actual social area, rooms are big enough to meet and socialise in, there is a pretty cheap bar attached and a club. Barely slept during my stay, but not too much of an issue for me. A lot of people were here long term with jobs in the city or looking for jobs. Whole place feels a bit run down but pretty clean. Amazing location, easy bus and train routes to get about.

One night stay before flight. Great location. Good hostle.

Base is great in a big dorm where you stay to party but was far from ideal in a single room for a quieter trip. The room was on the roof top terrace and the window was next to a large chimney which was twice as load as an aircon unit. Impossible to sleep through. The bathroom is further along the roof top meaning you have to go outside again to get there, just to be aware of. Can get more for money if needing a single room and not there to party. Staff are mainly short term backpackers so don't have much experience on the desk.

It was what you would expect of a backpackers, slightly busy and noisy, but pleasant enough. No help in lost property dept. Phoned twice, no reply. Lost property is just that....Lost.

Think of the bare minimum a person needs to survive, add a whole lot of drunk backpackers yelling and spewing all over the place at all the hours and you've got the Base. Enjoy. However it was really really close to Central Station.

Nice hotel in the CBD of Brisbane. Just stayed overnight for 6 hours as had early morning flight the next day. Central location however basic room (tallboy and a bed with nothing else). Probably would not stay here if was more than one night but if on a budget and after a basic room would recommend. Great for budget travelers,students and backpackers

Clean comfortable room without frills. Area noisy due to Construction site opposite Adjacent bar has good well priced meals

The room is clean but the bathroom is intolerable. Also, it's really noisy at night as I stayed on the 1st floor. I choose it just because I only took a short stay in Brisbane and it's quite cheap. I would never go to this hostel again.
