The Charleston Place

Joined wife on her business trip as we love Charleston; only an hour flight from WDC…..TCP is perfectly situated in the middle of it all for easy day/nightlife beverage/dining/shopping access, and waterfront exercising….Room was great, House Service was great, and just a general fun and relaxing vibe. Lots of reno/restoration work underway, but for me it shows they’re continuing to make the investment…..And SamH and Craig saw us off with a few laughs yesterday morning….Way to go, Sam. Keep up the great work. Cheers.

What a wonderful evening! I enjoyed a lovely equestrian themed night at Thoroughbred. My server Jessie was positively effervescent, and the upright bass was divine. The staff was most affable, the food most delectable, and the ambiance most enjoyable. I cannot wait to return for more hot nuts and smooth jazz!

Even though there were serious renovations going on, the staff was amazing at providing exceptional service to overcome some mild inconveniences.

Fantastic. The facility was exceeded only by the staff. They were gracious, courteous, and extremely well trained. My room was luxurious, spotless and immensely comfortable. I never passed a member of the staff without being greeted and made to feel welcome.

Just wanted to share a quick review from our recent stay in Charleston. Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself was beyond stunning—beautiful, comfortable, and you could truly feel the Southern hospitality from the moment we arrived. This was our first time visiting Charleston, and we really didn’t know what to expect, but we were incredibly impressed and honestly sad to leave. Ben, the bellman, made such a wonderful impression. He created such a welcoming atmosphere—funny, knowledgeable, and he even took time to share bits of Charleston’s history with us, almost like a private tour, without expecting anything in return. Eric at the front desk was hilarious and full of life, and Greg, our driver, made sure we got everywhere we needed to go while sharing amazing stories along the way. He truly took the time to get to know us and bring extra smiles to our faces during our stay! It truly felt more like being welcomed by family than staying at a hotel. A big thank you to Ben, Eric, Greg, and Scott for helping make our stay so phenomenal. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to coming back! Tonya

Wonderful lunch excellent service.

Great hotel and best club level experience that we have had in a long time. Hotel is located in the middle of everything, which is a huge bonus when looking for a hotel.

I was really impressed with the hotel it was one of the most beautiful places I have stayed I travel 6 days a week. Sam the bellman was exceptional. He made my trip even more special and is very appreciated.
