Breakfast was lovely. The bed was extremely comfy. The hotel itself needs some TLC but this is made up for by the excellent staff, who were all so professional and friendly. Well done staff.

It is a beautiful building and needs TLC.

"Ideal location for The Devils Punch Bowl"

The hotel is rather tired but it's a great spot for walking The Devils Punch Bowl. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is excellent.

The hotel could do with a lick of paint and TLC...

Location was great, the period property was consistent with the area and on top of the Devils Punchbowl which is spectacular!

A bit tired but as a base for one or two nights adequate!

Inexpensive. Good location for us. Decent pub food although quite a few items unavailable.Pleasant service

Room very basic, strong smell of bleach. No spare blanket, no hair dryer in room. No weekday breakfast before 10am not mentioned on listing.
