Williamstown Motel

I took a room with a queen bed for the night calling about 7pm the friday of check-in and arriving a half hour later. In the interim, my innkeeper had unlocked my door, turned all the lights on and gotten the wall-unit going. The feel is kitschy and a honest retro throwback where accommodations were simple and accessible. The innkeeper was cheerfully at the desk when I arrived, curious about me and perfect on making sure I was set with no fuss. The motel layout was classic and I parked in front of my assigned room. Inside I found everything for the stay — nicely made queen bed; clock; ports; wall lamps and desk lamps; heating and cooling unit; desk/work area; waste bins; iron and board; completely appointed bathroom with soaps, lotions/shampoo/conditioner and lots of towels, mats, and cloths. The neighboring room guest was enjoying the view of the mountains from the chair and table in front of his room. We had a chill chat. Later I enjoyed a late night sandwich in front of my room after my events with friends. The gardens are classic roadside and add cheer.

I had a great experience with our 3 night stay with friends. The owners were very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations and ideas for our visit. The room was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck for a meal. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the motel to anyone who is looking for accommodations in the area.

Was greeted by a young lady on check-in, who confirmed she was a family member of the owners. There was also an adult member of the house staff. Check-in was quick, efficient, and courteous. I was asked via phone call and in-person how many where in my party and if I had pets, which seemed a little odd but not a bother. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. This is a motel, so don't expect resort accommodations. I liked the outdoor seating area with a couple Adirondak chairs and additional chairs and tables. Would be a pleasant place to eat lunch or dinner. Room had coffee maker (with decent coffee), fridge, microwave, TV, AC, hair dryer, but I didn't see an iron (I didn't need one, just noticed). I didn't try their breakfast, I assume it's just light pastries from the check-in office, but not sure. The location is great, easy to find, surrounded by restaurants (a couple within walking distance), and a little travel to activities. The price was very reasonable, and the place certainly did NOT give off cheap motel vibes.

This motel is a good value considering the location and condition. Simple motel that is fairly dated. Very friendly owners/staff. If you are looking for a basic motel that is not expensive, is clean and convenient to Williamstown, this a good fit.

Rocky, Najma and family bent over backwards to make sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay! Extra towels and a grab bar in my shower, no problem. I added 2 more days beyond my original 3 days with no issue or room change during this busy time in the Berkshires. Very nice mini fridge (with real freezing comparment!) and microwave to accommodate a few cost conscious in room meals and snacks. A very hospitable environment for my purpose and I would stay here again!

The layout is classic roadside motel, but everything has been redone to a good standard and the property as a whole is pleasant and comfortable. It's a top-notch place to stay if what you are looking for is a comfortable place to sleep in pleasant surroundings. The staff is absolutely top-notch, if you need any info Rocky is more informative than any big-hotel concierge desk!

Not much to complain about, I really like this place and after having tried pretty much every place to stay in the area I've been coming back here ever since. The only thing I could possibly quibble about is ice availability--it requires asking in the office.

The owners are on site and very responsive and helpful. Great location.
