Best Western Plus Crawfordsville Hotel

We stayed here over the Indy 500 Race weekend, and the toilet ran the entire time we were there despite reporting it to the front desk twice. We called to let them know that we'd be a very late check in more than 14 hours before we arrived, but the message was not communicated to the night staff and she had to conduct the audit, so our reservation was cancelled. Fortunately, she was able to re-book the stay for us (which was nice because it was 4:30 in the morning when we arrived due to a very late flight). We were also informed that their phones didn't really work, so she wasn't that surprised that they didn't relay the message because they probably didn't receive it. There were stains around the shower drain, we were in a kitchenette and there was no dish soap or dishwashing powder and we came into the room to find all of the dishes in the dishwasher. We couldn't tell if they'd been cleaned, so we just left them in the dishwasher like we found them. Other minor, dumb things, the shower gel was never refilled (it was empty when we arrived) and there was no hair dryer in the room - but they did remedy that immediately, which was nice.

They cancelled my reservation when i was minutes from the property stating that the app had overbooked their property and there was nothing they could do for me. I booked this room months ago for my son’s college graduation
