Best Western Plus Crawfordsville Hotel

We checked in today and sat to eat dinner after a 7 hour drive. We looked down and there were bugs crawling on the floor. The bathroom had a wet wash cloth in the bathroom on the counter. I went to the front counter and I requested a new room. The second room was gross and smelled musty. The sheets were stained, the comforter and mattress topper were stained by piss. The housekeepers could not have missed that. Why put them on the bed? The walls in both rooms had crap on them, not sure what it was and there was nasty garbage and dirt behind the bed. Overall, it was a nasty hotel. The front desk staff was nice and understanding. It has to be embarrassing for them to rent those rooms. I was told they are under new ownership. Hopefully they will care more and take better care of the hotel. Clean the carpets and wash your elevator as well. Don't waste your time with this hotel. I recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton. They are directly behind this nasty hotel and WELL WORTH THE EXTRA $20.00.

The room setup was great. The people we directly interacted with were very nice and helpful.

Took a long time for the room to heat up. The manager changed our reservation without requesting. The very nice young lady was trying to help us while her manager (Suba) was yelling at her. We later were trying to purchase drinks. The same very nice lady was helping us. The system charged my card twice. She called Suba and she yelled at her and told her to run my card again. The workers we directly interacted with were awesome. The Manager Suba is an awful human being and needs to find a more well suited work or refocus and be trained again.

A poor hotel for a best Western plus, room smells horrifically, and desperately needs a deep cleaning and freshening up. Paint on walls is falling off and over painted with different colors. Baseboards are filthy. I’ve always expected better for the Best Western plus brand, but apparently it has fallen off tremendously.

Close to family

The door was like it was busted. And didn't take the key .the floor by the window was kinda wet. The hotel has gone down hill in the last 5 years. We stay here about 4 to 4 times a year.

Nothing.

MIssing remote in the room, hairs in the sink, dirty water and dishers in the dishwasher, no shampoo, and the handle had been pulled off the shower door and just left on the top of the toliet lid.
