Very comfortable accommodation, friendly staff.

Beautiful traditional house which is immaculately kept. The room was ample size with excellent facilities including a spacious en-suite with toiletries provided. We were up in the eves so our room had plenty of character with all the exposed beams. Location is excellent, just far enough away from the noise of the city and a pleasant stroll to and from. June (with Willow in toe) is a cordial host who makes you feel very welcome and comfortable as do all the staff who are equally accommodating. It is likely the best cooked breakfast I have enjoyed in many years, cooked to perfection and excellent quality produce. This will be my go to for future visits to York.

There was nothing we didn’t like about this accommodation but both found the pillows to be rather flat (continental style). We probably should have enquired about extra pillows but it really wasn’t an issue.

Really great location, really friendly staff (great that they fixed the broken cot for our little one!) and very comfortable bed with soft towels. Good that they let us keep our parking even once we’d checked out

The hotel was beautiful clean and had all that was needed and the staff was very helpful and attentive will be returning in the near future also tell my family and friends to book a stay when visiting York.
